No one wants to get injured in the gym, thats why we need to talk about injury prevention. Your health is the number 1 thing you should look out for. Thats why in this video, we will go over various tips that will help you to stay injury free in the gym. We will start by learning how to properly load a barbell without it falling over, and possibly hurting you, or someone else. Then we will learn how to use safety pins, and everything you need to know about spotters. Of course, we cant forget about ego lifting, because that is a cause of a lot of injuries. Then we will discuss the difference between stretching and warming up, because it is EXTREMELY important. We will briefly go over why wearing shoes in the gym is a great idea. And most importantly, we will learn how to distinguish between the muscle burn, and an actual pain. Because if you dont know what the difference is, you will for sure get hurt in the future.

    Please listen to the advice in this video. Ego lifting set me back over 3 years. I had to stop for so long because my left arm was was so bad that I couldn't even pull up the hand brake on my car. The worst part was I was only lift maybe 5 KG more per arm than my 2 RM and my left arm just said no. It was a 55 KG barbell at 5ft 5" and weighing only 66 KG at the time.

    Alr, question: Does taking very frequent, small breaks have a big enough effect that I should avoid it? Context, I'm a big fan of Pokemon Go/Monster Hunter now, and both require you to stop for maybe two minutes at a time every 10-20 minutes so you can focus on what you're doing and not have to worry about being a nuisance to the people around you. Either way, I will probably continue to use these as motivation to get moving, I just wanna know if it has an effect how effective it is
